CORE BELIEFS

WE ARE A CHRIST-CENTERED AND GRACE-ORIENTED CHURCH

ON A MISSION TO CONNECT MORE PEOPLE TO JESUS.

GOD LOVES THE WORLD

From Genesis to Revelation, one of the Bible’s most clear themes is that God loves everyone and pursues a relationship with us all. His love for all people is made most clear in His gift of salvation. The price Jesus was willing to pay for our salvation is an indication of how much value God places on us. He loves us so much, He was willing to give up everything to be with us.

NOBODY IS PERFECT

Because all of us have sinned, we all need to know Jesus. Beyond that, none of us have any reason to judge or push away other people. As one person has said, “I am just one beggar telling another beggar where to find bread.”

At the core of what we believe is to engage everyone around us with open arms and the love of Jesus.

WE TRUST THE BIBLE

Because the Bible was given to us by God, we can trust that it is accurate in everything it teaches and we can rely on those teachings to guide us in life. The Bible should serve as our primary authority as we go through life.

ONLY JESUS SAVES US

The great distinction between Christianity and every other religion is that we know Jesus has done for us what we could not do for ourselves. He lived a sinless life, died an unjust death, rose from the dead after three days and is today with God the Father preparing eternity for us. When we put our lives in His hands, He gives us a new start and bright hope for the future.

WE LOVE EVERYONE

Whoever loves his brother abides in the light, and in him there is no cause for stumbling.Jesus repeatedly taught His followers the importance of love. His second greatest commandment was to “love your neighbor as yourself.” At the last supper, he told his disciples that the world would recognize them because of their love for one another. He also taught that our love for Him was to be demonstrated by our care for those around us (especially those who are less fortunate or under-privileged). Because God is characterized by love for all people, His children should be characterized by love for all people.

"The main things are the plain things, and the plain things are the main things.”

― Alistair Begg

"For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.  For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit."

-1 Corinthians 12:12–13

"I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment."

-1 Corinthians 1:10
